Mission to North America (MNA) recently expressed appreciation for the work done by Westminster and Highlands Presbyteries during the 2024 Hurricane Helene response. A copy of this resolution may be downloaded below.
On November 8, 2025 RE Mike Kennamer, who serves as MNA Disaster Response TAG (TN, AL, GA) Regional Specialist and Warehouse Manager, presented a resolution of commendation at the 200th Stated Meeting of Westminster Presbytery in Johnson City, TN.

And on November 11, TE Steve Jessen, MNA DR Regional Specialist for the Carolinas presented the resolution to Highlands Presbytery.

Among other things, the resolution commends and expresses appreciation to Highlands and Westminster Presbyteries, their collective church staffs, sessions, diaconates, and communing members for the provision of facilities for disaster response staging sites and for the hosting of and care given to PCA volunteers...
The resolution continued by stating:
"Truly the meaning of Biblical Christian hospitality has been shown in the way you cheerfully worked together, in the way you graciously served us, and in your many demonstrations of Christian love."
